Blooming Ghost is a creative technology and research-based design studio founded by raya marie hazell. Collaborating through a process of 'mournful design', the studio is rooted in a critical and research-based design process that interrogates the nuanced context of each project and impacted audiences.

Blooming Ghost supports early teams, companies, and projects in field research, concept design, product design, and general design consulting. The studio has collaborated on projects in critical technology, climate futures, creative tooling, and new internets. Recent clients have included a climate startup, an experimental social network, and an ecological design studio.
